近日，S4 Capital及Media.Monks摩课士创始人兼执行董事长苏铭天爵士（Sir Martin Sorrell）出席在上海举行的第三十五次上海市市长国际企业家咨询会议（IBLAC）。本次会议以“变局与新机：建设更具活力与韧性的国际大都市”为主题，来自全球15个国家的超过40位国际顶尖企业家齐聚上海，探讨科技革命与产业转型背景下的城市新发展，表达对世界经济的直接感受、对全球变革的深刻领悟，为上海高质量发展和现代化建设贡献真知灼见，推动上海与国际企业深化合作，共谋发展。

Recently, Sir Martin Sorrell, the founder and executive chairman of S4 Capital and Media.Monks, attended the 35th International Business Leaders' Advisory Council (IBLAC) meeting held in Shanghai. Themed on "Changes and new opportunities: making Shanghai a more robust and resilient international metropolis", this meeting solicited suggestions and ideas from nearly 40 companies' executives from 15 countries worldwide. The attendees engaged in discussions about new urban development in the context of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Through this meeting, they shared firsthand experiences of the global economy and gained profound insights into global transformations. Their contributions offered valuable perspectives to bolster Shanghai’s high-quality development and modernization efforts while fostering enhanced cooperation between Shanghai and international businesses towards mutual progress.

苏铭天爵士对上海发展提出独到见解。他认为，当前全球供应链格局的调整，正为上海产业升级带来新机遇。他谈到，“现在的世界和以前很不一样，供应链需要多元化，这不仅因为地缘政治，也因为气候变化。这导致现在国际企业很注重平衡。以中国在世界经济中的占比，跨国企业对中国市场的兴趣不会减退。”

Sir Martin Sorrell had unique insights into Shanghai's development. He believed that the current global realignment of supply chains is bringing new opportunities for Shanghai's industrial upgrade. He commented, "The world now is very different from before; supply chains need diversification, not only due to geopolitical factors but also because of climate change. This has led to international companies emphasizing balance. Considering China’s proportion in the global economy, multinational corporations' interest in the Chinese market will not diminish."
